
Dr. Amin is currently a clinical instructor at the USC School of Dentistry. She graduated from one of the top dental schools in Iran, the National University of Iran, and subsequently got a scholarship to USC School of Dentistry to complete specialization in Advanced Periodontics. She also received post-doctoral training in Medical Education. Following completion of her trainings, she returned back to Iran for a relatively short time, where she taught at the University of Isfahan (1981-1986). During that time, she established a private practice limited to Periodontics. Dr. Amin immigrated to the United States in 1986, and has since been on the faculty at the Department of Advanced Periodontics (USC School of Dentistry). She also established a private practice in two locations- Chatsworth and Newbury Park. Dr. Amin has over 30 years of experience in Periodontics. She values treating each patient with care and compassion, within the highest standards of care. Dr. Amin has three children. Her hobbies include travelling, gardening, and bike riding with her husband.
